Hey guys!
I’m considering buying 2 Willys Jeeps ‘46 and a ‘48 from a gentleman for $750.
Yellow one needs new plugs and has Rust on the floorboard passenger.
Red one runs but has Electric issues.
Both have new tanks and he includes a third repro transmission and frame.
1) CP or NP?
2) Anyone wanna help me fix them up?

1: NP
2: I would if I could, but I’m prepping to move from Guelph to Kelowna in four weeks.

You’ll have to fight Party-iv for king of the willys.

So CJ2As? Does the 4WD work? These are dead-simple machines, but the steering on them is needlessly complicated, and some drivetrain components are obsolete (Dana 41? Nah son). $750 is fine if you have somewhere to put them, just make sure they aren’t going to turn into a yard ornament. I actually restomodded a CJ3A, so if you’re looking for any information I can be of assistance.
ETA: Looks like a couple of CJ3As with M38 windshield frames and hood. I can’t tell from just pictures. I think between them you could have one sweet Jeep. They both look like they have Spicer 18 transfer cases.

Depends on what you’re doing with them as to the price. If you’re combining for one running jeep, than probably NP. For two jeeps it’ll cost a lot more than that, especially with the potential title issue the ad mentions.

Where are you located? I’m in Springfield, VA but I’d be down for some wrenching. I don’t have much knowledge but I learn quickly and don’t mind getting my hands dirty. Teach me, obi-wan dr. science!
